1980s Willi Smith Black Cotton Anorak

spotlight To even begin to understand the whole vibe of Willi Smith is to know Marc Jacobs or really, Marc by Marc Jacobs. It's a very fine balance between not taking it too seriously and looking cool. Fabrics and silhouettes you can wear, can afford, and can relate to. The designer wasn't looking through old photos of Rochas couture and wondring how he could reinterpret it - he was sitting outside on Astor Place and was checking out the kids on the Lower East Side and what they wear. You never feel overdressed or sloppy - it works in the real world. An oversized black cotton anorak lined in Willi's grey cartoon print cotton. Cute over colored tights and a short A.P.C dress with no.6 green suede ankle boots, it has a big hood and zipper placket with big black buttons over that. Big interior pockets on both sides for your iPhone and wallet, this is sized medium and while the measurements seem like a large, it is to be worn big on a smaller girl and not to fit the numbers. Shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve (even with a rolled cuff) 27" and length 35". Think modern 8. Excellent condition. $245.00
