1970s Roberta di Camerino Velvet Croc Pantsuit

spotlight There is nothing as sexy/tough as a great vintage pantsuit. With absolutely no equal in the modern world, a pantsuit must be vintage or not exist at all. Wait, there is one exception - Jean Paul Gaultier and that is IT. Something about the flared leg, the skinny hips and the long jacket that works hard for the money, honey. With fabulous versions by Anne Klein, Yves Saint Laurent and Halston, you have to know that Roberta di Camerino was going to come along and make the most bootylicious one of them all. In reptile-print brown cotton velvet, it has the logo bells and whistles that clueless girls could never decipher (a real plus). Wide lapel and curvy jacket with skinny pants that flare at the ankle but not so much that they look dated. Pair the jacket with jeans or wear the pants with a Rick Owens cardigan and Repetto 'Legende' flats. Lined in signature Roberta lattice crepe, the actual jacket pockets are hidden with decorative flap pockets at each hip. Bust measures 34", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 23" and length 25". Back zip pants have a 28" waist, 11" rise and 29.5" inseam. Both are in excellent condition. $735.00
