1960s Anne Klein Topstitched Jacket

spotlight Don't believe the editorial mandates that say vintage is all about the Oscar gowns. Vintage can be anything from a Bonnie Cashin turtleneck that pulls up into a hood (not quite red carpet but killer nonetheless) to yes, a Valentino strapless chiffon gown. If you love great clothing, it doesn't have to be vintage for special and contemporary mainstream for your basic stuff - you can get anything from anywhere if you have the right eye. Sure, you can wear a J. Crew jacket to a Yankees game or you could wear old Anne Klein. We have a real sweet spot for this label of this age - it is completely unpretentious while being adorable in a mature sort of way. A cheerful cherry poplin jacket with white contrast stitching and poppers (aka 'snaps' here in the US) along the placket. A pointed spread collar and tiny red and white geometric lining with snap-down pockets to wear with a yellow C+C tee, white Margiela sailor pants and Bernhard Willhelm rope sandals. Bust up to 36", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 23.5" and length 29". Excellent condition with the exception of some enamel wear to the outer edges of the snaps. $140.00
