1970s Topstitched Red Shirtdress

old pics of mom Sometimes your own mom is the biggest dork in the universe. Like, you can't imagine her having been cool or stylish (unless she is Marisa Berenson). But when going through old family photos, you invariably come across something that lets you know your arrogant child opinions were wrong. That Mom may have been kinda hip, with a Pucci silk scarf tied around her ponytail and massive Gucci sunglasses. A perfectly crisp cotton and polyester "permanent press" dress in Kodachrome red with white topstitching that your cool mom would totally have worn and so can you. Wide, pointed collar, deep patch pockets and a wide belt that buttons low over the hips. Pucci scarf in your own hair, Gucci sunglasses? Done. Modern it up with a Jacquemus "Le Bambino" bag in suede and apologize to your mom for not appreciating her sooner. Bust 38", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 23.5" and lrngth 39". Excellent, if not flawless, condition. $105.00
