1970s Norman Norell Nutria Coat

roll up to whole foods in this Norman Norell designer for his label up tunil his death in 1972. There was an effort or two to revive the house but how can you do Norell without Norell? How can you do Halston without Halston? Ossie Clark without Ossie? You can't. Just like you can't do Bugs Bunny without Mel Blanc. And they tried to switch Derwood on Bewitched but no no no. Norell is Norell. A full length nutria coat that is pieced on the diagonal to create a dramatic chevron pattern. Slightly gathered shoulders with silk velvet-lined pockets and a silk satin lining. Four hidden fur hooks. Also bears a Hudson's Fur Salon label, best suited for a modern 8 or small 10 with an outer sleeve of 24.5" and total length 51". Excellent condition. on ebay
