While we try to steer away from fashion that is made under sweatshop conditions (which is SO much of contemporary, accessible fashion), we get that you don't want to labor over every single thing in your closet. Is it ethical? Is it affordable? You do you but if we have left you with a little mindfulness about how people are treated in faraway places to satisfy our rabid consumerism, we can live with that. We love vintage because a lot of it was union made. We look for that union label. Marimekko's cotton terry tunic in caramel and black with a single baby pink dot. Inseam pockets on both sides of the trapeze hem, we love this with skinny pants in any number of colors and vintage Keds Champion sneakers.
