1970s Ralph Lauren Rose Print Blouse

spotlight Having strong opinions and not being afraid to voice them means you often offend a person or two, so we apologize in advance for stepping on the proverbial toes of Ralph Lauren. Come on, a Jewish boy from the Bronx with a serious Anglophilic affectations? These Jewish girls aren't buying it for a second. We just don't see Ralph settling in a lovely townhouse in Mayfair, calling the maid "Love" and the butler "Old Chap" in a heavy New Yawk accent. So while the British country thing may work for some, our vintage hearts are with the old Ralph Lauren - who made Americana and prairie the national look of the 70s. Some of the most wonderful prints and fabrics, he also ran a stunning ad campaign with Clotilde Malignon as his muse. And as easily as you can pair a Liberty of London print blouse with faded jeans, vintage Ralph Lauren is as natural a couple with Levi's as diamonds are with platinum. Baby blue with tiny pink cabbage roses cut into a collarless blouse with gathered shoulders and a peplum waist. Step into a pair of vintage Lucchese handpainted cowboy boots and pile on the turquoise. Bust measures 38", shoulder to shoulder 16.5", outer sleeve 22.5" and length 22". Excellent condition. $80.00
