1960s Lanvin Cropped Giraffe Jacket

more giraffe For twenty years, Jules-François Crahay defined Lanvin as the 70s badass tour de force it was. He never tried to re-interpret Jeanne Lanvin's work, he took the label in a whole new direction. An early adopter of freakishly synthetic fabrics, you will find lots of nylon crepe, vinyl and plastic-coated cottons throughtout the 60s and 70s. A synthetic, cropped giraffe jacket outlined in brown vinyl, it is cut just like a denim jacket. Lined entirely in brown satin acetate, it buttons along the placket and cuffs with tiny buttons and has breast pockets on either side of the placket. With a very full Plantation skirt or Margiela wide-wale cords, this is special but wearable. The kind of thign we love. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 15.5", outer sleeve 23.5" and lrngth 19". Excellent condition. $840.00
