1980s Courreges Leather Jacket

spotlight Courreges is not really a vintage label per se, Andre and Coqueline designed from 1961 to 2011 without a pause. And while their mid-60's work represents the house in the most enduring ways, they also moved through the 70s and 80s without constantly regurgitating their previous work. A 1980's panelled lamb leather and suede jacket in pale grey, red and black that is oh so very French. Asymmetrical placket that fastens with button and loop closures, there is a belt that widens to a peak in back. The red and black are the leather - the grey, suede. Lined in black synthetic satin, we would do this as a suit jacket with either very tight, cropped pants or a long, similarly tight skirt. Bust up to 38", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 24" and length 24.5". Excellent condition. $440.00
