The more you think about the Courreges aesthetic, the more Zen it becomes. It is what it is. There are no extra ties to wrap and twist. No flowing straps. When you put on vintage Courreges, it is, on you, exactly as the designers (do not underestimate the influence of his wife, Coqueline) intended. So while they blasted the roof off of previous fashion norms, they were still in complete control of the product. An early 1970's baby blue matte polyamide and lycra jersey halter dress that does not tie at the back of the neck, nooooo. It is stitched together into a v that then hooks into the top of the back zipper. It is quintessential Courreges precision without being rigide. The "cups" are slightly gathered along the bottom seam so they cradle your boobs in a very cool way. Made in France, it is a Courreges 0. Bust 34", hips 36" and length 54". Excellent condition. sold |
