1960s Bonnie Cashin Knit-Lined Suede Coat

spotlight A departure from her usual fasteners, Bonnie never strayed far from her requirement that clothing be easy to deal with. With the exception of her pullover leather jackets (which women bitched about in the day - you know that hair was the last bastion of total dependency on someone else that they had), everything is one handed. But nevertheless, she persisted. A fawn-hued suede coat with a gorgeous knit lining of brown, sage, baby blue and cream wool boucle. Big deep Cashin pockets, the front closes with a jewlery-like buckle with slide. Made for Sills, the bust measures up to 40", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 21" anf length 39". It is in near flawless condtion with the exception of the strap holding the buckle striking us as more delicate than it should have been, considering the buckle is heavy and that suede thin.
