A fantastic Bonnie Cashin leather vest that would be the absolute kick with everything from a striped Comme des Garcons Tee and jeans to Dries Van Noten seperates in impossible print combinations. Lined in tangerine cotton canvas, the signature turnlock closures and roomy pockets are practical, smart and clearly designed by a woman when men were still making clothes you couldn't even sit in. Love a good Norell sequin dress but how often are you going to wear that? Really? Bonnie Cashin is to wear all the time, vintage but still so damn modern. A single strap from nape to lower back, the construction is thoughtful because the strap moves with you. If it were tight, you would not be able to bend over. A man wouldn't care.
