A Joe Doucet shield with a vintage Pierre Cardin dress is the height of au courant (you still have to wear the mask though). Cardin's signature applique details at the shoulder and oversized patch pockets sitting low under a skinny leather shoestring belt in white. A supple red and white wool that comes off as pink without being prissy. Sort of Bonnie Cashin, don't you think? High band collar, it is lined entirely in red silk charmeuse.
