Even those of us whose taste runs along the lines of Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester cannot deny the profoundly classic femininity of this dress. It will be as if they dipped a freshly bathed, favorite perfumed you in cotton candy and set you down on a cloud to cool off. Amazing. Hollywood fabulous. Just look at it. Pink silk chiffon in yard after yard with a ruched waist that meets like intertwined hands under the gathered strapless neckline. A pink chiffon fichu attaches (and detaches for just strapless) above either breast, with a tiny arch of skin exposed, to drape across your shoulders and upper back. An absolutely gorgeous wedding dress, although it wasn't designed that way - silver metallic Rene Caovilla sandals and skin. Perfect skin. Lined in silk crepe, boned through the bodice and backed in bubble gum-pink tulle, it is special. Totally special. Bust 32", waist 23", this needs a small girl with healthy boobs. Size 2, maybe. Excellent condition with the exception of four small oxidized pin-sized stains near the waist on the chiffon. $695.00 |
