1960s Beaded 3 Piece Skirt Suit

acapulco "Yes, I'll have the scallop ceviche and two Sidecars in my cabana at one. Gracias, Enrique.", and you hang up the phone, gathering your hat and sunglasses to sit in the shade, down on the beach. What sort of vacation was that? The sun never hit your skin, you didn't get your hair wet and you basically sipped cocktails morning, noon and night while your husband played golf. Your energy expenditure was two calories an hour and that was just from adjusting your gold jewelry that you also wore in the shade, at the beach. (Making sure clasp is in the back=1 calorie). Maybe you stopped by the little dress shop in the Las Brisas lobby and bought something "local" to wear to a dinner of more vodka and some sort of fish you were too laissez-faire to notice. But it was fabulous, you wore it once and brought it home and saved it as a momento of Acapulco. A intricately paisley-printed and beaded shell, floor-length skirt (slit to above the knee on both sides) and jacket by Jila Bath in Acapulco. Mostly black with red, pumpkin and green dyes. Top buttons in back and is 36" across the bust and 20" long. Jacket has abbreviated sleeves that cuff and has a shoulder span of 15" and is 23" long. Skirt (this is the piece that will mostly determine if it will fit you) has a 28" waist, 36" hips and is 41" long. All are in excellent, if not flawless, condition. $210.00
