1970s Alley Cat Wool Intarsia Top and Skirt

spotlight Betsey Johnson was, is and always will be a complete honest testament to practicing what you preach. Sure, you can be a designer who makes one thing and wears another yourself or you can be Betsey. You can live in a taupe and white condo and espouse leather and Liberty or you can be Betsey (look up Betsey's house online - gaw-jess!). You can change to accomodate trends or you can be Betsey. Betsey's style is pure Betsey Johnson - alive, young, interesting, electric and adorable. With her many labels over the years, they are all very her. A two-piece sweater and skirt in dark pink, cornflower blue and butter yellow perky as the day is long. To wear with high Moschino platform shoes and Les Nereides candy jewelry, the intarsia wool knit has flowers and bows with a polka dotted skirt. Ruffled, caped shoulders and a flared skirt, the wool is nice and beefy and has body on its own so as not to be clingy. Bust measures 34", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 24" and length 17.5". Skirt closes with a side zip and has a 26" waist and is 21" long. Both are in excellent condition. on ebay
