We have smashed so many traditions that have long perpetuated the stereotype of women, as virginal children to be protected and objectified, so why do we still wear white to weddings? Girl, ain't nobody no virgin no more so just stop. No no, a wedding dress should be floaty and romantic but it definitely does not need to be white. Nothing more smashing than a 20's chiffon dress with contemporary Amina Muaddi pumps and a small Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a crystal cheeseburger. Smocked from bust to thigh with a caped bodice and ruffles at the back of the knee, the color palette is mostly peach with pale lilac, blue and pink flowers.
