Koos van den Akker's suits with matching blouses are some of our most favorite Koos pieces. His original take on the classic Chanel suit is decidedly unfussy and down-to-Earth, this time in woven silk with a collage henley sweater to match. A balance between rustic and girlie, the silk is predominantly red, pink and grey with a sweater that is oatmeal, pink and grey. A slim wrap skirt with jacket trimmed in antiqued cotton lace, the sweater is silk and cotton and has looong neck ties at either side of the placket that hang in front of the jacket when buttoned. The jacket is also lined in that great Oliver Twist pink and grey cotton. Really super cute and lighthearted while being substantial to touch, the collage on the chest is an old-fashioned rose print in silk plisse. We'd wear this with vintage Granny Takes a Trip platform sandals and a very 1940's rolled coif. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 24" and length 23". Skirt has a 25" waist and is 32" long. All three in are in excellent condition. $440.00 |
